the excavation, exposing employee(s) to the hazard of falling
approximately 21
feet, being struck by the bucket, and caught-in-between hazards associated
with the boom and bucket of the John Deere model 800C serial number
FF800CX971093 excavator.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement is to follow
the
owner's
manual for the John Deere excavator 800C which reads: "Only allow
operators on machine.
Riders are subject to injury. They may fall from machine, be caught
between machine parts,
or be struck by foreign objects.

is
lowered over rear attachment pin and ensure the safety latch pin was
available
and used. This condition exposed employee(s) to the hazard of being struck
by
the bucket and/or crushed by the bucket.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement is to follow
Central fabricators
owners manual, which reads: "Slide safety pin all the way right BEFORE
swing latch is
lowered over rear attachment pin. Latch lock arm MUST BE ABOVE safety pin
to properly
couple with attachment.  UNCURL ATTACHMENT AND CHECK INDICATOR PLATE
FOR LATCH ENGAGEMENT. ENGAGE SAFETY LATCH PIN. At the rear of the Quick
Latch (away from the operator's seat), remove the lynch pin from the
safety latch pin. Slide
the safety latch pin from the rest position to the left - to the latched
position. Install the lynch
pin in the opposite end of the safety latch pin."
