employees were conducting water blasting activities while working from the
elevated bucket of
a Bobcat 763 Skid Steer loader.
Among other feasible and acceptable methods to correct this hazard is to
comply with (1) the
Association of Equipment Manufacturers manual for skid-steer loaders which
states: "Never use
the bucket, forks or other attachments for a work platform or personnel
carrier.", and (2) SAE
J153, Surface Vehicle Recommended Practice, Section 4.3 Operator
Precautions, "Do not permit
riders on the machine if there are no manufacture's designated place for a
rider."
