Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard(s) of being struck-by or crushed-by tube forming machines: (a)On or about March 21, 2012, at 200 McIntyre Drive, Hartwell, GA employees were operating tube forming machines that were not regularly inspected and serviced to insure safe continued operation. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard would be to refer to and use the information provided in Sections 7.2 "Training of Maintenance Personnel" and 7.3 "Inspection and Maintenance" of industry/consensus standard ANSI B11.2-1995 (R205).
