Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
Rent A Center Gautier Benitez Store - The lift from truck with plate
number 864-170 was
stucked while employees delivered and picked-up merchandise, they had to
operate it mannualy,
allowing the merchandise to be unstable. The measurements were 38"x 95".
Hazard: Load may fall on employees.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard is to fix the
lift and have a schedule for checking the lift before and after each use.
Rent A Center tienda de Gautier Benitez - La plataforma elevada del camion
con numero de
tablilla 864-170, se quedaba atascada cuando los empleados iban a entregar
y recoger mercancia,
en ocasiones la activaban manualmente, ocasionando que la mercancia
estuviera inestable. Las
medidas eran 38"x 95".
Riesgo: La carga puede caer sobre los empleados.
Entre Otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir este
riesgo es arreglar la
plataforma elevada y tener un itinerario para verificarla antes y despues
de cada uso.

handle Work domestic
violence in the workplace, as required by the Act for the Implementation
of a Protocol to Handle
Domestic Violence Situations in the Workplace or Place of Employment, Act
No. 217 of 2006.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard is to develop
a written protocol to handle domestic violence in the workplace and
provide training to all the

Protocolo para Manejar Situaciones de Violencia Domestica en el Lugar o
Sitio de Trabajo, Ley
NGm. 217 de 2006.
Entre Otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir este
riesgo es desarrollar un
protocolo escrito para manejar violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo
y proveer
