Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:On or About 02/21/12 Location:Second Floor Condition:Employees were exposed to the hazard of being crushed/struck by collapsing roof trusses due to inadequate bracing techniques. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to install bracing in accordance with the Wood Truss Council of America recommendations per BCSI 2008.
