North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to struck by hazards: a)garage, where employees use a 6' concrete catch basin to hold cars while they were being serviced by employees. ABATEMENT NOTE; The employer can install a automobile lift specified to lift and hold automobiles.

North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to struck by hazards: a)garage, where engines and transmission were stored on industrial commercial steel storage racks that were not bolted to the ground. ABATEMENT NOTE: Is for the employer to bolt the industrial racking system to a solid surface according to the manufactures's recommendation.
