Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:01/23/12 Location:Warehouse Condition:Metal storage racks used to store tires were damaged. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct the hazard is to comply with Section 1.4.9 of ANSI MH 16.1- 2008 by immediately unloading then replacing or repairing the damaged storage rack. Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training certification, etc.) is required for this item.
