Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:03/27/12 Location:Front Side of House Equipment:Sky Trak Rough Terrain Forklift, Model #B8400, Serial #P9989B4684 Condition:An employee operating a rough terrain forklift did not use its equipped seatbelt. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard, utilize the installed restraint system in accordance with the current version of American National Standards Institute (ANSI) B56.1-2009 "Safety Standard for Low Lift and High Lift Trucks," and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) B56.1-2000 "Safety Standard for Low Lift and High Lift Trucks."
