Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a), Annotated Code of Maryland: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:03/13/12 Location:Inside of the Building Equipment:Lull Highlander Material Lift, Model #-6488-37, Serial #-JUN96V12N21-534-BRB, #644B-37 Condition: A seatbelt was not installed on the material lift. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable means of abatement to correct this hazard is to have a seatbelt installed on this material lift. Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training certification, etc.) is required for this item.
