Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while working in close proximity to a loader: (a) Location - 559 Concord Road, Sudbury, MA: On or about 1/11/12, the operator of the ASV Posi-Track SR-80 loader was not properly trained. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to ensure that all operators are provided appropriate training for the equipment as required by ANSI Z133.1-2006, Section 5.1.5.n
