Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: a. On or about 02/03/2012 employees were not provided with fall protection operating a stock picker forklift to retrieve orders from storage racks at heights up to but not limited to 11 ft 9 in. 1. Among other methods of feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is: Comply with the manufacturer's requirements and ANSI Z359.1, Person Fall Arrest Systems, ANSI/SIA A92.3, Manually Propelled Elevating Aerial Platforms, and ANSI/SIA A92.6, Self Propelled Elevating Work Platforms.
