Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of being struck by or crushed by: (a)On or about 03/15/2012 - Production area, an employee was operating the forklift and was not using the seat belt. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard would be to ensure that all forklift drivers utilize the restraint devices provided on the forklifts, as stated in ASME B56.1-2003-Safety Standard for Low Lift and High Lift Trucks, Section 7.41, Operator Restraint Systems.t
