Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard: a)Old Mill Storage Bins - I-beam columns, supporting the roof structure at bins 7, 8, 11, 12, 17, 18 and 22, had damaged flanges. Columns 7,17,18 and 22 also were twisted along their longitudinal axis, on or about February 29, 2012. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct these hazards is to repair the columns as described in the Case Engineering drawings of 2010.ngs
