Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:07/05/12 Location:North Side of Building Equipment:JLG All Terrain Forklift, Model 6042, Serial #0160008254 Condition:Employees operating a forklift did not use its equipped seatbelt. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard would be to utilize the installed restraint system in accordance with the current version of American National Standards Institute (ANSI/ITSDF) B56.1-2011, "Safety Standard for Rough Terrain Forklift Trucks".
