31-372-101 Section 31-370(a) of the Connecticut Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a fall hazard. Location: (A) Howells Pond Boat Launch Culvert (1)The employer did not inform the employee of the unique hazards of his job. A feasible and acceptable means of abatement would be to train employees performing the job task in this area for the first time on the unique hazards of the terrain.
