Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:On or About 10/04/12 Location:South Side of House Equipment:Lull Highlander Forklift, Model #644D-34, Serial #99AL25W24-422 Condition:Employees operating a forklift did not use its equipped seatbelt. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard would be to utilize the installed restraint system in accordance with the current version of American National Standards Institute (ANSI/ITSDF) B56.1-2011, "Safety Standard for Rough Terrain Forklift Trucks".
