Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:01/07/13 Location:Storage Rack System in the Last Aisle of the Meat Freezer Warehouse Condition:The base of at least seven vertical storage rack legs were not bolted into the floor so they were secured; and three vertical legs had been struck and were no longer straight. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable means of abatement to correct this hazard would be to replace all of the defective storage rack legs and bolt them securely into the concrete floor in accordance with paragraphs 1.4.7 of American National Standard Institute-ANSI MH16.1:2008, Specifications for the Design, Testing, and Utilization of Industrial Steel Storage Racks.e
