providing at least 15 minutes
of continuous and simultaneous flushing of both eyes, were provided where
employee(s) added water to the electric forklift battery, which contained
corrosive
sulfuric acid.
Among other feasible methods, one feasible and acceptable means of
abatement would be to install an eyewash
that complies with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
Z358.1, "Emergency Eyewash and
Shower Equipment."
