Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:10/01/12 Location:17001 Overhill Road Equipment:Bobcat Mini-Excavator Model #325G, Serial #AAC5139695 Condition:While traversing the slope to get to the telephone the employee was not wearing a seatbelt. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard, is to have the operator use the seatbelt as referenced in the fore pages of the manufacturer's operator's handbook and the fore pages of the manufacturer's operation and maintenance manual. Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training certification, etc.) is required for this item.
