functioning operator-controlled horn and was being used to transport
empty, wet, wooden
storage crates outside for the purpose of drying.
Abatement Note:
One feasible means of abatement would to install a working back-up alarm
and a functioning operator controlled
horn.  Also, ensure that the alarm and horn functions are checked as part
of the pre-shift inspection of the lift.
