North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fire and explosion hazards: a)production area, employees working in the production area were exposed to fire and explosion hazards in that Fiber Controls dust collectors were located inside the building. The dust collection (DC) systems inside the building was DC1,DC2,DC3. b)production area, DC1, flexible duct tubing was utilized to connect the Rando Airlay Machine to the Fibers Controls dust collector ductwork. c)production area, ductwork design was changed by placing a lexan cover at the end of the ductwork for the Garnet Machine on line 2. ABATEMENT NOTE: One feasible method of abatement will include but not limited to installing the dust collection systems in accordance with NFPA 654 Chapter 7, Section 7.13.1.1.1, 7.6.2 and 7.3.2.2..1,
