Condition:The emergency eyewash, consisting of two small bottles, could
not provide 15 minutes
of continuous flushing while employees were exposed to Reagent Solution
44, a
corrosive.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct these hazards is to comply
with the American National Standard for Emergency Eyewash and Shower
Equipment, ANSI Z358-2009.
