Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:07/10/13 Location:Front of Building Equipment:Deere 410J Backhoe Loader Condition:An employee was operating equipment without using the provided seatbelt. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard, install and utilize a restraint system in accordance with the current version of American National Standards Institute (ANSI) B56.1 "Safety Standards for Powered Industrial Trucks" and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) B56.1-2000 "Safety Standard for Low Lift and High Lift Trucks".
