Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:06/06/13 Location:Front of Town House Condition:Employees were exposed to the hazard of being crushed/struck by 46-foot trusses that were not properly hoisted with an approved spreader bar. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to use a spreader bar in accordance with the Wood Truss Council of America recommendations per BCSI-BI. Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training certification, etc.) is required for this item.

Among other methods and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to install bracing in accordance with the Wood Truss Council of America recommendations per BCSI-BI. Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training certification, etc.) is required for this item.
