Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:07/26/13 Location:Receiving Area Equipment:Raynor, DuraCoil, Rolling Service Door Condition:Employees were exposed to crushed/struck-by hazards from a rolling service door that had an inoperable counterbalance system. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to abate this hazard is to have the rolling service door repaired by a qualified person in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
