Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:09/03/13 Location:Laser Area Condition:Employees dispensing GAX-26 and Isogard, both corrosive liquids, were provided with an emergency eyewash station that was located 135 feet away from the employees. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to abate this hazard is to install in the area an emergency eyewash station meeting the requirements of American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Z358.1- 2009 "American National Standard for Emergency Eyewash and Shower Equipment."s
