members,
and bottom chord planes. Short pieces of lumber, "spacers" were used
between adjacent trusses to tie them together.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is
to comply with the manufacturer's recommendations on how to properly brace
roof trusses or
follow the Truss Plates Institute's BCSI-1-03 Summary Sheet.
Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs,
training
certification, etc.) is required for this item.
