T.C.A. 50-3-105(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: On 02/13/14, the employer did not ensure that the Werner 6 foot fiberglass ladder was inspected and removed from service when needed. The ladder was missing one of the plastic feet causing it to be unstable Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard would be to inspect the ladder and remove it from service until it is repaired or replaced.
