Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:05/27/14 Location:Front of Building Condition:Employees were exposed to serious eye injury when the employer provided an eye wash without water, where an employee used a mechanical mixer to mix Workride Masonry Cement Type N, a corrosive material. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method of abatement to correct this hazard is to provide a hands-free, automatic eyewash station in accordance with American National Standards Institute ANSI Z358.1- 2009 requirements.loyees
