29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On or about April 4, 2011 and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of 12 feet by working on a 5 in 12 slope roof without fall protection. Note: Abatement certification is not required for this item.
