29 CFR 1910.334(a)(2)(ii): Where there was a defect or evidence of damage that might expose an employee to injury, the defective or damaged item was not removed from service until repairs and tests necessary to render the equipment safe had been made: 1) On March 13, 2011, flexible electrical cords on the following equipment was damaged and had not been removed from service until repairs could be made: a) Flexible DC powered cable was damaged on the #10 'Accu-Charger' battery charger. b) Flexible DC cable was damaged on the #7 'Accu-Charger' battery charger. c) Strain relief had become disconnected on the AC cable for the 'Ferro Charge' battery charger.
