29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were other provisions of paragraph (b) of this section used to provide an alternative fall protection measure: a) On or about March 25, 2011, roofing employees were exposed to falls of over 25 feet while they installed tile roof without the use of adequate fall protection. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed Sample Abatement-Certification Letter ). D-7 Roofing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) or its equivalent which was contained in OSHA inspection 314660689, Citation 1, Item 1a, issued November 10, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 10154 Ouray Street, Commerce City, CO 80022. This citation became final on December 7, 2010.
