29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502. (a) On or about March 31, 2011, Journey Homes CS LLC, as the controlling employer, did not ensure that Eagle Construction Co., a sub-contractor, protected their employees from fall hazards in excess of 9-14 feet while framing homes at three different addresses same location without fall protection. JOURNEY HOMES CS LLC, WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 313718397, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM 2, ISSUED ON 4/16/2010, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT SCANABA (MULTIPLE SITES) COLORADO SPRINGS, CO 80901. THIS CITATION BECAME FINAL ORDER ON 5/11/2010.
