29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program that provides for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employer: (a) Spectrum General Contractings Inc. at 1301 Quebec St. in Denver, CO: On and before April 25, 2011 the employer did not provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person in that a competent person was not present at this work site and did not observe or inspect the roofing activity in more than 10 days. This condition exposed subcontractor employees to fall hazards of up to 30 feet. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Sample Abatement-Certification Letter").
