29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: a) 6th floor SW corner: On or about June 2, 2011, and at times prior thereto, an extension cord was used to provide power to the surge protector being used to power coffee pots near employee desks. b) 6th floor SW corner: On or about June 2, 2011, and at times prior thereto, an extension cord was being used to power a fan at an employees desk. c) 7th floor SE corner: On or about June 2, 2011, and at times prior thereto, an extension cord was used to provide power to the surge protector being used to power coffee pots in a makeshift break area. Note: Abatement certification is NOT required for this item.
