29 CFR 1926.503(c)(3): Retraining was not provided when inadequacies in an affected employee's knowledge or use of fall protection systems or equipment indicate that the employee has not retained the requisite understanding or skill: a) On or about June 1, 2011, and at imes prior, employees were exposed to falls exceeding 10 feet while painting condos from an aerial lift. Employees were wearing harness and using ropes but had put coats over the harness to keep warm. Employees had not retained the knowledge of donning fall protection equipment. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation is required for this item (see enclosed "Sample Abatement-Certification Letter").
