29 CFR 1910.263(l)(9)(iii)(a): Failure of the gas pilot did not automatically shut off the fuel supply to the burner:    a. Site- Employees were not protected from burns where the Blodgett, type 981, pizza oven did not have an automatic safety pilot valve to provide complete gas shut off in the event of pilot failure. On or about 6/8/2011 an employee sustained first and second degree burns to the face, neck, and arm when the gas was not shut off after pilot failure and the employee attempted to relight the pilot.
