29 CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)(I): Flexible cords and cables shall be protected from damage. Sharp corners and projections shallbe avoided. Flexible cords and cables may pass through doorways or other pinch points, if protection is provided to avoid damage.: a. On the site, the employer did not ensure the extension cord being used to provided power on the site was protected from damaged. The cord was placed in a doorway to reach the outlet and the door was closed pinching the cord.
