29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, personal fall arrest system, or other approved alternative fall protection system: (a) Alberto Lopez at 2543 W 105th Ct, Westminster, CO 80234: On and before June 28, 2011, the exposing employer did not ensure that employees were protected from injury, in that four employees removing shingles from a 4.5-in-12 pitch roof on a two-story residential home were not utilizing a fall protection system. Employees worked along the eave of the roof on the 2nd level with their back towards the edge of the roof. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 17.5 feet.
