The use of a body belt in a tethering system or in a restraint system is acceptable and is regulated under1926.502(e).\r\n\r\n(a)  An employee conducting masonry operations from a Genie S-60 aerial lift was not protected from a fall/thrown hazard by using a safety harness and lanyard attached to the lift. This exposed the employee to a fall hazard of approximately 6 feet.
