29 CFR 1926.200(g)(2): Traffic control signs or devices used for protection of construction workers did not conform to Part VI of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices a) On or about July 6, 2011 and at times prior, Edward Kraemer & Sons Inc., as the controlling contractor, did not ensure that workers were protected from traffic hazards. 1. Work zone areas were not completed, in that tapers and tangents on the MHT were not completed due to lack of devices on site. This resulted in vehicles being parked outside of WZ areas and workers not being seperated from live traffic 2. Workers did cross live lanes of traffic without any type of protection 3. Multi-lane with median areas did not have signage on both sides of the throughfare Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
