29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided: (a)Weatherguard Construction Co. Inc., at 14133 Fairwind Lane, Broomfield, CO 80023: On July 14, 2011, as the controlling employer, did not ensure the employees were protected from injury, in that employees engaged in roofing operations on a roof with a 5 in 12 pitch without the use of fall protection. This condition exposed the employees to a fall hazard of up to at least approximately 16 feet. Weatherguard Construction Co. Inc. was previously cited for a violation of is occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313720146, citation number 1, item 3, issued June 25, 2010 and became a final order on July 30, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 19418 Mann Creek, Parker, CO 80134.
