Employees conducting roofing work on a 6 in 12 pitch roof which was over 6 feet from a lower level were exposed to fall hazards, and the employer did not initiate and maintain an accident prevention program to control and eliminate the hazards present at the jobsite in accordance with the OSHA regulations. ABATEMENT CERTFICATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
