29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2):     The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s)    Workers were observed engaged in commercial roofing operations on an existing warehouse type of structure. Workers were exposed to potential fall hazards from heights of 6.5, 13.9, and 22.0 feet in that regular and frequent inapections of the jobsite by a competent person were not conducted.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): \r\n\r\nThe employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:\r\n\r\nWorkers were engaged in commercial construction activities installing roofing material on a steep sloped roof area of an existing warehouse type of structure. Workers who were exposed to potential fall hazards were not properly trained in fall protecion criteria.\r\n\r\n

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): \\r\\n\\r\\nEach employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toe boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.\\r\\n\\r\\nWorkers were observed engaged in commercial construction activities re-roofing an existing commercial structure. workers were exposed to potential fall hazards in that a method of conventional fall protection was not utilized.
