29 CFR 1910.157(c)(4): Portable fire extinguishers were not maintained in a fully charged and operable condition: a) On or about July 29, 2011, and at times prior, the employer did not maintain working portable fire extinguishers in pre-designated locations in the shop area. These fire extinguishers were accessed during a flash fire emergency and were found to be inoperable.
