29 CFR 1910.266(f)(5)(i): Machine access systems, meeting the specifications of the Society of Automotive Engineers, SAE J185, June 1988, "Recommended Practice for Access Systems for Off-Road Machines'," which is incorporated by reference as specified in Sec. 1910.6, was not provided for each machine where the operator or any other employee must climb onto the machine to enter the cab or to perform maintenance. Shitike Block 65 work site- (a) The John Deere 648 Skidder's access handle attachment point was broken. Note: Abatement certification and supporting documentation are required for this item. Tomcat Logging, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.266(f)(5)(i), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 305939365, Citation Number 1, Item Number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 08/18/06 with respect to a work place located, Warm Springs, Oregon.
