29 CFR 1926.651(b)(3): When excavation operations approach the estimated location of underground installations, the exact location of the installations shall be determined by safe and acceptable means. (a) The exact location of underground electrical lines were not determined by a safe and acceptable method. This resulted in the electrical line being struck which resulted in an electrical shock to an employee.
