29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system:    a.) On or about June 22, 2011, at jobsite located at 2658-60 Elm Street, Park Forest, IL. - in lieu of conventional fall protection, the employer did not utilize an alternative fall protection plan as stated in STD 3-01A-Plain Language Revision of OSHA instructions STD 3-1, Interim Fall Protection Compliance Guidelines for Residential Construction dated, June 18, 1999, while engaged in sheathing operations for residential construction activities:        (1) Slide guards were not installed along the eaves of the roof, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards of approximately eight (8) feet, eight (8) inches to seventeen (17) feet, three (3) inches on a roof with a 6x12 pitch.
