29 CFR 1910.305(c)(4): Snap switches mounted in boxes did not have faceplates installed so as to completely cover the opening and seat against the finished surface. Store Manager's Office. The snap switch for the overhead light did not have a faceplate, exposing employees to electrical shock from contact with energized wires when using the switch. There is no abatement documentation or certification required for this item.

29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1): Employees were not able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge. A device such as a panic bar that locks only from the outside was permitted on exit discharge doors. South Side of Store Near Frame Dept. An exit door did not open from the inside when the panic bar was pushed. No abatement documentation or certification is required for this item.
