The employees were engaged in roofing activities without the use of any fall protection system. This condition exposed to fall hazards of up to approximately 12.5 feet.

CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards: (a)Mario Vega at 7939 Elmwood Dr., Denver, CO 80221: The employer did not ensure that each employee engaged in construction activities had been trained to recognize the hazards associated with working at elevations over 6'. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. Employees working on-site had not received fall protection training before working at elevations over 6 feet. This condition exposed employees to the hazard of falling from an elevation of up to approximately 12.5 feet.
